I propose an airsoft field that is themed to play much like the famous video game, “Call of Duty.” How it would work is, everyone picks out their own airsoft gun, and if they own it they can paint it whatever color they like. If not, we can let them borrow one that we provide. They can be bought very inexpensively here: http://www.hobbytron.com/SpringMiniUSPPistolLaserFlashLightAirsoftGun.html . Players can customize the rules of their match, which areas are off limits, how far someone has to be before they can be fired upon, and any other rules that they seem to think fair. The game would be based on the honor system to know when a player is out, seeing as how the game is just for fun. It affects anyone who likes airsoft and paintball or has wanted to try it, including me. It provides the entire community with somewhere fun and exciting to be when people have spare time, whether they’re trying something new, or a returning veteran. It is in a building somewhere downtown because people need to be able to get there and find the area easily. The building has one floor and a ceiling about 8 1/2’ high because BB’s and paintballs can’t be flying over people’s heads. It’s a safety hazard. My project is similar to BattlegroundZ in Attleboro because BattlegroundZ is a paintball field that is redesigned every few months, but has to be completely dismantled and the design process must start all over again. My airsoft field would prioritize in airsoft matches, simply because there is a much larger population of players. It would also be changed around about every two weeks. This is made possible by a special kind of wall called a modular wall. It is a wall the comes in pieces that fit much like a universal puzzle. Every piece fits with every other piece, so these pieces can be rearranged much more easily than building a brand new structure.
